Our custom printed labels are digitally printed using the dry toner which is fused to the adhesive label material surface and so by not using solvent based inks creating eco friendly printed labels on rolls. As such our printed label toner is less likely to wash-off a label exposed to spillage from certain chemical containers so it is usually not necessary to apply expensive laminated labels to protect the toner.
Users need to conduct tests and we can provide samples but nearly every case we have examined it is not functionally necessary to protect the printed label toner with more than standard varnish which is for visual effect. Overlamination is applied for additional visual impact in some cases but progressively the frequency is less.
Fast Labels Print
Advanced dry toner supports our eco friendly fast delivery service. If you have an urgent need for printed labels we can run immediately on receipt of a PDF file without the need to make plates or to process large minimum printed label order quantities. Under usual conditions we state our printed stickers lead time to be 3 days from receipt of artwork but in many cases our digital labels are printed in 1 or 2 days. For those customers with repeating short run labels orders we arrange slots in our stickers print schedule so for example their orders and label needs received by Tuesday afternoon are printed that evening or Wednesday a.m. We have the capacity, contingency, commitment and flexibility to respond so please do contact us for digitally printed labels sample, quotes or press proofs and general discussions on the best label approach.
