Adobe Illustrator CS2
All documents need to be saved as EPS, PDF or AI. Please embed all images and size to 100% @ 300 dpi. All fonts to be outlined.
Adobe Photoshop CS8
All documents need to be saved as EPS, PDF or PSD in CMYK. All fonts must be converted to images.
Quark Version 6.1
In addition to the Assembled file please also enclose images and fonts contained in the Design file.
Colour
Our Xeikon 330 digitally prints a large gamut of colours using the process CMYK. A White station is also available where required eg for backing on clear material.
If any PMS colours are required please name the Swatch target. All pantone references will be produced as close as possible from process colours.
Ensure Black content does not exceed density values of 200%.
Where black illustration content is made with process colour this should not exceed:
40% C
40% M
20% Y
100% K
Note:
The colours from artwork approved on monitors in RGB and printers will possibly not directly match the digitally printed result from the file due to the difference in the calibration of printers / inks / monitors etc.
Where a specific colour is sensitive and needs to be pre-approved our digital process supports press proofing and we recommend a press proof be ordered for printing on the production press, production materials and with specified finish for approval. This proof will also serve as a contract standard.
