Borble Ltd print digital labels and wall covering borders, the name Borble is derived by mixing the words Border and Label. Borble Ltd was formed by the directors Gavin Scott & Barry Griffiths and following a period of market and technology research they defined Xeikon digital label press technology to be the process of first choice and printed labels as the initial target market when the company started to print in May 2005 using the first digital label press of its type in the UK to supply high quality low cost custom printed labels on rolls.
The directors have broad commercial, technical, print industry and general management experience and quickly established a leading position in two markets for digitally printed self adhesive labels and decorative self adhesive wall borders.

UK self-adhesive label printing companies are traditionally dominated by litho and flexo label printers who use expensive printing plates to print labels in the large volumes required to recover the cost of plates and set-up to achieve low unit label prices. However this requires label users to tie-up cash and space in stocks of labels. Scott and Griffiths detected change was taking place and the recession has accelerated this process.
