We carefully analysed alternative digital label press technology before deciding on Xeikon. Our printing presses do not use printing plates or blankets; the 4 process colours (+ opaque white on clear material or occasional special colour) are applied by Photostatic where ink is statically attracted to the label stock without first going to a plate or blanket. In this way we print labels with great tonal range from the lightest highlight and deepest solid – photo quality so your label design does not need to be compromised by the number of colours or the complexity of content and variety.

Variable data is also a major feature of this process. If you are looking to track assets or control your internal processes and require variable data, we can put a unique barcode on each label and also vary colour, text, images on a label by label basis. This variable data is not over-printed onto a label as is often traditionally the case; we incorporate variable data as part of the one pass process so that variable data can be embedded below a varnish or laminated labels layer to add further durability.
