High Resolution Results

Combining the new QA-I toner with 1,200 dpi print and (with a magnifier) we see some interesting progress. The face printed at 600dpi & 1,200 dpi is in fact just 6mm across so by eye the difference is difficult to notice but the higher resolution available on our high speed 3300 does deliver benefits for fine process colour illustrations; fine text reversed out of process colours, uniform solids colour areas from CMYK and in conjunction with variable data, complex label design. 1200 dpi in conjunction with variable data and appropriate screen ruling also creates opportunities for innovative security label printing applications also discussed on this website.
